Rohesia Rosé
Innovation and Geometry
The Rohesia Negroamaro Rosato 2024 will be the first wine from our winery to feature a screw cap. A forward-looking choice, challenging the Italian skepticism toward this technology. For us, innovation and quality go hand in hand.
In addition to its elegant design, this closure provides exceptional protection: its low oxygen permeability (OTR < 0.1 mgO₂/year) outperforms current standards by more than ten times. The result? A fresher, more stable, and longer-lasting wine.
Why the screw cap?
- Protection from oxygen: Limits air exposure, preserving aromas and freshness.
- Guaranteed longevity: Controls the wine’s evolution, keeping its qualities intact for years.
- Consistent experience: No risk of defects or cork taint, every bottle is perfect.
- Convenience: Ideal for those who want to enjoy wine at their own pace, with excellent storage even after opening.
In addition to the innovative closure, the Rohesia 2024 also presents a new graphic design that reflects its evolution. The name Rohesia, from medieval Latin, means “rose,” symbolizing grace and elegance. The label reinterprets this concept with a geometric pattern that evokes rose petals carried by the Salento wind, dancing in the air like fragments of light at sunset.
