Teresa Manara Chardonnay VT
The art of patience
Some choices come later, when time has already spoken. Teresa Manara Chardonnay was born to change the rules, to prove that a white wine in Puglia could be great. But every path, if followed to the end, opens up new possibilities. Waiting even longer, beyond maturation, letting nature take its course. It’s a risk, but also a promise.
This is how Teresa Manara Chardonnay VT was born, from an idea that is a natural evolution: harvesting later, when the grape has lost water and concentrated its aromas, when the sun has given more than one could ask for. The result is a wine with a denser structure, deep and complex. The aromas shift toward candied fruit, honey, and wilted flowers. A sip that envelops, yet retains tension. There is richness, but also freshness. A subtle balance that only comes with experience and patience.
It’s not just a more intense version of the classic Chardonnay; it’s a different interpretation of the same vineyard. If the Teresa Manara classic marked a turning point, the Late Harvest is the consequence of someone who doesn’t settle. It’s the result of someone who knows that time, when listened to, offers depth and new perspectives. A wine born from waiting, but not waiting to be remembered.
